I pray, a lot. However, when I am praying, I do not pray out loud. I talk to God all the time, but never out loud. I have been dwelling on this subject for awhile. I know He knows all of my thoughts, but if I don't actually pray out loud, is it as effective as it can be? Most people I know are "out loud" worshipers. I think prayer should be something personal, something quiet.
Now, praise and worship, singing and that sort of thing, I am right there. I have been blessed with an amazing gift from above and can sing to worship aloud at anytime. But, as for just praying, I am the silent type.
